Nosy Kintyre checking to see how the scrapghan was going #crochetsky

2 of the 3 leeks are starting to grow. The 3rd is doing roots like crazy.

Guesstimating my layout this year. The curved portions on the top and one end are cattle panels. Hoping the tomatoes on the one, and the melons and beans on the other pop fast enough to create enough shade in Texas. The leafy veggies are to offset the amount of buying food for my reptiles.

Soooo, got the scrapghan squares done with the leftover blanket yarns (thicker types) and attempting to block out the smaller squares. Thistle and Heather happily lay around the dowel pegs... weird cats. #crochetsky

Snuggling weather

Which is probably why Republicans fight so hard against child marriage. Forced last name changes won't allow girls/women their own decision in future voting. Especially if they make divorce difficult in the future

Who knew Republicans might destroy marriages gleefully? The SAVE Act that they want to put through will essentially stop women who have married and changed their last names, from voting. Married name and birth certificate won't match, therefore no voting allowed.

Heather and Kintyre 😍

Current work in progress is a heavyweight scrapghan. I have 6 more colors to make squares out of, then block so they lay flat and then sew together. Just in time to be too hot for Texas. Whew! Couple more weeks of work. Who am I kidding, they're already too hot for Texas. 🤣😂🥵 #crochetsky

Last nights amusement consists of Heather - if I fits, I sits... and Cairngorm and Thistle having stolen the dog bed. 😄

Trump, Musk move to oust EPA staff in the Great Lakes region, including dozens responsible for protecting drinking water for 30 million in U.S. and Canada www.chicagotribune.com/2025/02/06/t...

Mull of Kintyre, another bed thief, who then rushed down to steal my spot on the couch. Varmint! ##oldtimescotchcollie

🕊️ A poem for a Sunday morning🌿

Ben Nevis the bed thief. #oldtimescotchcollie

Instead of doomscrolling, doomreading for the month of January... 32 books. #booksky

Got the asparagus cleaned out in the raised bed and about half cut in the chickens yard. Will finish the rest tomorrow AM as my back is very unhappy with me. The chooks were amused by everything, and the goats were happily chowing down on the stalks.

Foggy, foggy evening, can't see road

Mmmm, books. Tolkien boxed sets. #booksky

Couple of projects completed this month. #crochetsky

2/ regular non-military flights, which is what was happening under Biden anyways. 120 last year and almost 500 flights the previous years. But FOTUS and his fellow MAGATs think this is a win??? What win? It's the same thing that the previous President was doing...

So let me see if I've got this correct. FOTUS sends a bunch of Colombian immigrants back to Colombia via MILITARY plane and is turned away. FOTUS throws a tantrum and slaps tariffs, Colombia rightfully responds, and then they come up with a "new deal" where immigrants are returned on 1/

So how’s it going so far?

Simple as that…👇 🌈✨🌈✨🌈✨🌈✨🌈✨🌈✨🌈

Get up to make tea and lose my spot entirely... sigh.... Heather the cat and Kintyre the dog.

Feeding the critters this afternoon. The wind is the cold part.

Cold day out, gave me a chance to finish off two books I was partially through on. The bookcase needs its yearly deep clean and shifting around. But I do love to look at it. So peaceful. #booksky

Listen up.

Wind at 16MPH. Brrr! Outdoor animals are enjoying their extra feed, however.

First attempt at a terrarium. A fern and pepperomia, and some moss. With fake lizards. Lol!
