I love Costco. I live in driving distance of 2 of them. They still have their $1.50 hot dog and soda combo. Not to mention, we love to get their pumpkin pies around the holidays. When I was a child we used to go there for "lunch" by trying all the food samples they would have throughout the store.

Only buy necessities. If you have options and the means, don’t support big box stores like Wal-Mart. No Amazon. Shop local. Support minority and women owned businesses locally or online. Find out the politics of businesses and respond accordingly. No fast food or other chain restaurants etc.
