I volunteer w/CoCoRaHS (U of Co). Deals w/weather. ?'ed if they have a back up plan like a vol run spreadsheet where we can continue to input data for use in the future. They say their funding seems ok right now but they were kicking around What Ifs. Researchers should consider a vol back up plan

Neil, I have a wealth of the historical data and lots of automated coding from the AAPOR project that I can help feed in to such a project. I also have established an AI based coding system that might be really helpful for replicating at lower cost.

As a longtime client of polling, you can't take public opinion at face value anymore. You need to know where people get their information which strongly influences opinions.
We don't live in a society with shared sources of basic facts about current events. Many sources are fantasy (or propaganda).
