NYC has, on average, 5.3 murders a day. We haven't heard a single word about the other 4.3 people killed that day. No one could even tell you their names.

I think it's 5.3 per 100,000 people. Last year it looks like it was like 1-ish a day. Ended the year sub 400 homicides.

Atlanta has 20.2 per 100,000, and it's not even top ten Most Murder-y Cities (I think St Louis got it). The states with worse gun control have higher homicide rates.

Other than that though! You're totally correct. Lots of people were murdered, on average, in the US, on Dec 4. We know about 1 of them collectively because 'Mourn the King / Billionaire' from the media. And also their owners got to warn their other billionaires to Stay Safe, tell the politicians...

Two things can be true. Non violence is the answer when the laws allowing healthcare companies to deny claims are in the books. Change the laws, save a CEO's life, while saving millions? Now about bombs, responding with bombs might be the only way. Also, does the Middle East want peace?
