You might think Musk might see the utility of putting pronouns in email signatures, given the unusual names he has given his spawn.

Nevada, Griffin, Kai, Saxon, Damian, X Æ A-12, Exa, Strider, Azure, Techno, Arcadia, and Seldon Lycurgus are not "boy names" or "girl names."

Damian is the only possible exception, but these days, I wouldn't be confident in assuming someone with that name is male.

Indeed. Way back in the 80s I got a letter from a person new to me at my then accountancy firm, and with a name I hadn't seen before. Before writing back, in order to know how to address them correctly, I felt I needed to phone to inquire whether this was a lady or a gentleman.

Before pronouns in signatures were a thing, people with unfamiliar or unisex names often put (Mr) or (Ms) afterwards and no one objected.
