Agreed. The world does not need another burger 10 inches high with everything in the fridge wedged in between.
Just give me a regular burger, I’ll judge what goes on top, full stop.
When I was growing up in Colorado there was a fancy burger place called Red Top that did just that. They were the size of a dinner plate and were fantastic.

Seriously, comically large meat without enough bread to contain it is a pain in the ass
To go wider, almost every ingredient needs to be reengineered across the entire supply chain.
If they can make a burger, they can bake a bun!
