Also, even when it's not literally murderous, school bullying is an awfully potent tool for perpetuating bigotry over generations.
The most vile racist jokes I've heard in my life, it was in primary school.
The rape culture/toxic masc tropes hit in middle school.
Bullying takes parents' prejudice and infects peers with it.
We won't be able to build a compassionate society until we root out school bullying.
