The Feds *do* pay their fair share, by law. The Mayor refuses to raise property taxes like other cities do because he thinks we are special and shouldnt have to pay for the things we want. The Feds serve as a scapegoat, nothing more.

No question in my mind Canada needs a national electrical grid, certainly more than it needs pipelines. The Atlantic Loop should be part of that to help promote more renewable energy development.
