I haven’t run into anyone I know at a protest yet. I usually go after work so some people have already left. But all my friends who last year were telling me I was too conservative, not leftist enough, should do more for lgbtq whatever…haven’t seen ‘em.
But they all have to go. Trump, Vance, Mike Johnson, Elon, Chuck Grassley, Rubio, Gabbard, the DOGE kids, Stephen Miller, Susie Wiles, the Project 2025 folks ... a complete MAGA purge.
The lunatics in Congress & the Senate should take notes on how to oust a dictator, insurrectionist, fraud criminal that temporarily took over the government because he didn’t want to leave! Sound familiar?!?!😵💫😳🙃😈🎪🤡💩4brains
because there aren’t billionaires in South Korea. Billionaires use a corrupt President, but they don’t save him when he needs them. billionaires can only corrupt a criminal president.
Not how it happened, and to judge by U.S. standards, 4 months from infraction to removal from office is a blistering hot speed. There's been an interim president or two while the legal wrangling's been going on. Pretty big deal, locally. There's even wiki pages about it.
Typical American here. We don't get many details of events outside our megasphere. I'm fully aware what I said was absurd. It couldn't happen that way.
honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did it around this timeframe. it was always a matter of when, not if. my hope is that enough of our citizens have woken up to realize that it may take snatching up some scruffs ourselves to save us. that’s our duty as well. i have hope though!
What was worse; the fact that South Korea tried a dictatorship that failed or the fact that several superstars, both foreign and domestic, were caught in the crossfire, and that included English global superstar Dua Lipa, her family, and her boyfriend now fiancé Callum Turner.
There was a huge majority for the party that scaled the fences to take back power. Numbers matter. And don’t forget the PEOPLE were in the streets immediately and helping power to be taken away from him
My understanding is that at least part of the reason martial law didn’t happen is that when the news broke, every ahjussi with more than two shots of soju in him immediately transformed into their 1980s incarnation and hit the streets hollering.

Glad to know we arent the only ones with a broken democracy.
If you're Korean, Congrats for your victory.
It's weird living in a place where you can lose your wallet and have someone pick it up and mail it to you as a matter of course. Weird nice.
Magasphere is an interesting term to!
Fricking spineless republicans and their maga masters.

Unless you call martial law for the sole purpose of holding onto power.
#YNWA
