Not really interested in hearing anyone with the Los Angeles Dodgers talking next week about how important Jackie Robinson was when they all smiled and posed today with a white supremacist trying extra hard to re-segregate society.

hey, you know how after like 3 years Jackie was allowed to finally speak his mind and the press didn’t like him so much? wonder what Trump would’ve had to say if he’d been around back then…I think I have an idea
I hope fans are paying attention. I’m just really surprised—because in effect, they’re condoning all the policies by being there, aren’t they? Can’t pick and choose.
These days I’m surprised by anyone that shows a semblance of a spine even if they have basically nothing to lose (or are so rich that they could afford to lose some).
Everyone should root for the Warriors to win another NBA title. They already turned Trump down in his 1st term...guarantee they'll do it again if they win.
Like to think so, but I seriously wonder if the whole of the billionaire class doesn't want to give offense and will force their players to attend. That said, AFAIK, the Baylor 2019 women's team was the only hoops team to get invited during his 1st term.
Now that you mention it, I looked it up. Curry was vocal about the team not attending and Trump rescinded an invite the first time they won while he was in office, and an invite was never given the 2nd time they won during his term. And Lacob will defer to the players on it.
I mean technically Robinson retired rather than accept a trade to the Giants so SF should retroactively claim him going forward if the Dodgers are gonna do this ish

Well, shit.
Jeff Passan has done extensive reporting on this
Sadly, I’m not surprised very often…
Players should be speaking out.
