100%. I had to borrow your photo. We need much more emphasis upon your stack. Cognitive thinking to gain knowledge and comprehension. Get more people thinking, knowing, remembering, judging, and problem-solving. Not to always just accept, but to question.
Well, there are so many different versions of that bible, written by whatever old white men of the time. The holy spirit had nothing to do with it. Disgusted.
Thanks for that. If I do it again (thinking about it), I'll try to do better. I spent about $10000(NZ) on editing and publishing here in NZ and over a decade of my own work. I let the local publisher provide a design, and I never thought twice about it.
Fucking woke libtard. Look at this list. Full a' foreign ideers
Math? Buncha Ayrabs invented the numbers
Physics? Dress wearing Greeks
Litachure? Fancy boys Redcoats
Geography? Spanish spics, & Porttogeeees
Chemistry? Mafia and other latins
Biology? Just wanna cut my dick off and wear masks
Why liberalism is all you need to lead a good, fun, worthy, and rewarding lifeβand how you can become a better and happier person by taking your liberal beliefs more seriously
Opposing is Religon, Economics, Cynical Theories by Helen Pluckrose and James Lindsay, Law, Gun Rights, Propaganda, Fear and Division, Why diversity doesn't work.
Some of my favorite reading. Being woke means you know what's fact and what's fiction, being aware of what's going on and always looking to learn. The opposite is being comatose which is what regressive magats are.
Every command I served at had "indoc" as basically the first days upon arrival. Churches 100% openly indoctrinate kids- and seminary is where they teach DOCTRINE. As in, in DOCTRINE ate.
It's a little weird how they are obsessed with making words bad.
The more education, The better. And there is the added bonus that the material in these books is incomprehensible to MAGATs, except for the page numbers, but only up to 25.
Iβm sorry but we gotta remember Buzz Aldrin is and has always been a republican. Also I think most conservatives believe in calculus and that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
What does that have to do with understanding math and science? Donald Trump NOT Buzz Aldrin is who was elected by Republicans. A man that says water destroys magnets, you can nuke hurricanes and gets very angry when confronted with facts. I would be glad if the right ran Buzz Aldrin, they don't.
I honestly question this. They think "lying with statistics" means making up statistics, because their numeracy level is maybe about 3rd grade level.
Maybe.
As a lawyer with a bizarre kink for stats, I don't love
the idea of calling it "lying" but it's very easy to mislead with true statistics. Even easier to just misdirect.
For example, this is true: Of
the dangerous chemical DHMO, there is a fatality rate of 100% for chronic users of the substance.
That's not what they do, though. They say "lying with statistics" is faking Covid deaths or making up numbers for vaccine efficacy.
To be clear, I understand the pharma companies' studies always result in more promising numbers, so you run them yourself, not just cry that it's a lie without proof.
Unfortunately, both ends of the political spectrum seem to be susceptible to counterfactual rationalizations. If you think that your side is entirely based in fact, you may not even be aware of your own tendency to do this. https://youtu.be/zB_OApdxcno?si=s4ruQWDeMU1rxE_9
Itβs not a highly credible source, but with the agencies and media (publishing companies, news broadcasters, etc) using the platform that provides information to journalists, essentially acting as the origin of news or data used in a story, itβs a βmedia source.β If youβre going to argueβ¦ know.
Itβs not all that strange. Many scientists are people of faith. People of faith essentially invented the university system and the modern scientific method.
Well only thing wrong here is the is which book is which color all math books should be blue, science green, reading/writing red and history/social studies should be yellow haha Yes, I was that weird in school.
Now is the time to build your own personal library, because the authoritarians come for the sources of information first, the journalists, educators, & librarians, and because its easy to shut down libraries, but they can only take our books from our cold dead hands.
Donβt forget philosophy. This discipline teaches you to think deeply and critically. Works by Rousseau,, Locke, Hobbs and Cicero provide a foundation for how government was meant to serve society. The Federalist Papers also provide insights to government and society as well.
When the only criteria for truth is how well it agrees with you, you know you're lost in a propaganda cycle. Reality does not have to agree with us to be true.
The above will be replaced by Religious Instruction - where you donβt have to think you just have to learn obedience, and Political Instruction - where you donβt have to think you just have to learn obedience.
What about health education book with a unit on sexuality? I remember teaching to high schoolers in upstate N Y in early 70βs and the religious right was there then, trying to impose their values
Look, obviously the sun rotates around the flat earth, because why else does it 'rise' in the east and 'set' in the west, sunrise, sunset, just like the song. All else is propaganda.
The rejection of science and expert knowledge is a typical symptom of populism and fascism. Facts and reality disrupt the wild, often false narratives of these political movements.
I'm trying to figure out what a "conservative" math book looks like, because I refuse to believe the author of a "conservative" math book would have the literterary knowledge to say "2+2=5."
Social studies isn't really a field though, it's a catch all class in grade school for history, economics, and civics/government/law. Ideally should survey all social sciences, hence the name. Mostly the term is interchangeable with "history and government" in practice.
It came the closest to a Civics study, which in itself is not a field as a profession, e.g. Poly Sci is a degree more than a specific profession. It was a book that is in context to the post.
And yes, a catch-all, but it encompasses the studies of US society and government that most magats skipped.
Most of the "liberal" whatevers in academia are in the social sciences, and politicial science. Those guys are machiavellian.
The liberal presence is way larger, but anyone in those political circles (academic or not) are usually disengenuous assholes, regardless of affiliation.
History may be the odd one out. It can be subjective and/or instrumentalized. Objective views may clear things up at some stage but generally the winners write the history.

This is how I wound up doing it in New Zealand. I stuck the subtitle on as a sticker.
Technically, I can alter the cover without changing the ISBN (in Amazon). Not sure I want to do that again though.
The length of time actually reading the front cover and dismissing it was measurable only in New York Seconds.
It is an interesting blind spot.

Just getting prepped for survival. Don't mind me.
Where is?
Liberal is the politics of stone age, the humanity grow in social bheaviour
The social egoism and autism back from stone age in liberal ideas
Hereβs my response:
But the rest are my milieu
2000 books later..........
I think most magats missed Social Studies altogether, which would explain a lot.
And yes, a catch-all, but it encompasses the studies of US society and government that most magats skipped.
Missing Government
