They need to get it right. One of the best movie adaptations of a game was Silent Hill l, Directed by Christophe Gans. That film was exceptional and loyal to the source material.

Ugh. I wasn’t big on Barbarian, but I’ll still give it a chance. I would say give it to Robert Eggers or Ari Aster but I don’t think either of them would’ve made it so instead I would’ve liked Radio Silence or RackaRacka. Just have to wait and see how it turns out.

Honestly I think it could be done. Canonically, all three games take place within the same week, including 0, I believe. You could easily make a movie out of it and not skip over huge plot points.

A lot of the extra time comes from the slower gameplay. In a movie setting, it'll go much quicker!
