7th Generation is largely considered a pretty mediocre Video Game Generation. There are a few gems but most of those have already gotten Remasters or Ports by big developers already.

I've played a little of Darkness 2 after discovering that it was made by 2K and not an random game that I got out of nowhere on Steam
I hadn't beaten yet because I wanted to play the first one, but I'm really bad at playing FPS games on controller, so I'm always postponing it

just as a comparison, I play Metroid Prime better using primehack without auto-aim than playing with a controller and auto-aim

Nope, that's not how the Unleashed recomp works. People could potentially spend years doing the same kind of thing, but the recomp had a bunch of its code rewritten by people who already knew the engine and how it works so that it could run on PC.
