In some ways Frost is worse than Lithgow on this. Lithgow is pretending not to be aware; Frost is saying "yeah I'm aware of it all, it's all bad and I disagree with her vehemently, but I'm still being part of something that will make her money that she said she will use against trans people".
I just can’t see any positives in redoing this franchise? Maybe a new generation who didn’t grow up with original but it’s also on HBO not Disney. It seems like bad timing and purely a money-thing.
It’s only because the original trinity of actors spoke out against JKR’s transphobic bullshit and she’s so pissed about it she’s making a new version with actors who will know their place, purely out of spite. It’s a show made with hate that will be used to fund hate.
Even besides the JKR being a TERF stuff, it feels pointless. The original movies were already plenty accurate to the books and the cut content really didn't hurt much. Like is Hermione essentially being called "too woke" for being anti slavery really that essential for the plot like bruh 😭

1-You leave every child actor in this production alone. They're here because of their parents and have no real say in the roles they're asked to perform.
2-The adults are a different story. They should absolutely know better than to perform work for a TERF.

Children in show-biz have no bodily autonomy. The best case scenario is someone on set makes sure they're getting their breaks, meals, and homework on time.

Rowling being a hateful nut aside, I'm not really sure why this project exists. Nick Frost as Hagrid is brilliant casting, though.
Lithgow as Dumbledore is surprising, cause Rowling used to be adamant about having only British actors. I guess her thinking *can* evolve on certain topics. 🤔

As to why they're doing this, there was always eventually gonna be a market for a long format retelling that could cover all the stuff the films had cut out for time.
