i'm no lawyer but if SCOTUS makes it void, then
1. the court orders detainees except real gangs must be released.
3. if gov defies the order, the court deputizes national guard or court sheriff/DC police to enforce the court order. not DOJ Marshall.
4. some kind of physical stand-off is likely.

What's interesting to me is that, if the #Trump Admin is allowed to get away with this and other incursions, they may not have to actually barge into homes without a warrant, or take other measures. Just the threat of it will have the intended effect of chilling dissent and protest. That's scary.

Nope, 3rd. 4th has been bright to court several times. 3rd would demonstrate a grave increase in martial law. It's such a weird Amendment in modern times, but given that, traditionally, militaries like to move into any home they feel like, it's surprisingly important.

As a country, the US is extra-judiciously rounding up the people the Administration has labelled as "the problem" and is sending them off to a most horrible type of "prison" outside the borders of the country. We've seen this play before. It's remake with planes instead of trains.
