Stolen from Africa, brought to America
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
May he rest peacefully. I met him after the group I was apart of pushed/petitioned for the renaming of a former military base in Atlanta to be named for Henry Flipper (buffalo soldier and first BK grad of West Point). The endurance and resilience these people had. May our lives reflect our respect.
Respectfully sad for multiple reasons. One more story of the oppressed being sent to fight other oppressed people while being hated by yet another group of oppressed people.
