once again Chuck Schumer shows he knows the caucus should be voting no (as he did!) but is unwilling or unable to whip their votes

If I were a Democrat, and I saw Trump do a purge of high-level generals who were women and people of color and wouldn't be "yes men," I wouldn't vote to advance JD Vance's college friend for Secretary of the Army.
And yet....16 Democrats just did so

the more time these corporate D’s drag their feet to enrich their own selves, the more middle America is driven down by the R’s.
Sea-change would be an understatement here.
As long as Democrats fail to show a united front, Republicans know they can do anything they want. The votes very much matter.
everyone goes through it to an extent it just takes some folks longer to confront their selves in the mirror.
Better yet, can you point to a single positive result of this behavior?
None of Trump's nominees are even qualified; they're *anti-qualified* based on their resumés and the essence of their existences. And yet, some Dems vote for them. Marco Rubio was confirmed 99-0.
Doing what they want at all times, even when a minority. Either the Dems are helpless, or they aren’t trying. Which is it?
Virtually zero of Trump's nominees, including this joker, are even *close* to qualified. Why give them any legitimacy AT ALL? Just vote no! It's not hard!
It's functionally quite a lot easier than whatever the shit it is that you're doing here, in fact.
But also. If the vote doesn't matter; why vote for Trump's nominee? They must have seen some value in doing this. THAT, I think, is worth consideration.
Also concerning that Dems are not showing a more united front rn.
This is Gil from “The Simpsons”-level weakness
