Really annoys me. I asked someone about a car. Too cheap to mess around. And it got me a tad excited that it was all l could think about. All l wanted was a few pictures of the A posts and floor. The scuttle looked rotted so l wanted to see what this was like.

I gave away a dressing table a few years ago and had endless time wasters including one person who was worried it wouldn't fit in an A4 Avant despite provided measurements. While faffing somebody came and picked it up in a Ford Ka. A4 lady tried to kick off after so I just blocked her. Mentals

Yeah. I dread having to sell a car when I want a new one. You advertise for £4k and get messages I’ve got £2500 cash today but the worse thing is they just send a message saying “£2500 cash today” without any pleasantry’s. I just ignore them. I wonder how often it works for them?

I reckon the car thing is the "Wheeler Dealers" effect. People just think you can say any old amount and someone will eventually accept close to that. I generally like WD but car TV like that does rot the brains of the already terminally dim.

TV shows have emboldened them though as they make it look too easy, like some kind of big chunk of money off is basically guaranteed. Of course, works the other way too - people pricing their cars way too high because they think it's a classic/rare/special in some way.
