I think it’s more lack of tactical variation and creativity needed in those games as opposed to motivation. Either way it needs to significantly improve.

Odd really as the first year and half under Howe we barely lost to a bottom half side. We never took them lightly, gone the other way now.

Even 2 seasons ago we struggled to break teams down who came to defend. Didn't we play Palace 3 times and get 3 0-0 draws? Drew twice with Bournemouth as well. Obvious thing is, though, we weren't losing them. Now we are. Howe changed tactics and sorted it that season. Needs similar now, you feel.

Oh 100%, not great for us but…

Everton have played an Other 14 team in 11 of their 12 games!!!

They’ve got to hope they can get themselves up for the big boys later in the season.

You can see the difference in our approach against City, Arsenal & Spurs this season compared to the other games.

Eddie worked all week on a tactical plan, the lads are well up for it.

Other games basic 433 and everyone seems flat.

If you wanna be successful every game needs to be a big game

It’s simple really if you strip it back play your best footballer’s to win the games you will have or expected to have the majority of the ball.
