10) But here's the funny thing: the people on the internet aren't mad at the person who invaded your home. Instead, they're angry at... your neighbors.

11) "How could you people be so mean to the new homeowner?" the Internet People cry. "You're all just a bunch of monsters who don't want to see anyone NEW move into your neighborhood!" "What a bunch of elitist pricks!" "Leave the poor new guy alone!" "What if he needs this house like REALLY badly??"
The laws of buying and selling houses do not apply to people with Japanese last names, Ben. And there's no way the new homeowners would have known. They live in Japan and they don't have access to Twitter. I know because Reddit told me.
But what if the Japanese person in question was born and raised in Texas and very much has been keeping up with the progress of the home repair, despite their claims of having no access to social media?
But this one YouTubers who I regularly trust with medical advice, even though I don't particularly enjoy eating rocks, told me that's not the case. Did you know SAG is an evil corporation that wants to play Monopoly with me? I had no idea.
All i will say is: The person that moved in didn't know the house belonged to someone else in this case, they looked for a home and got one, lesson is: blame the ones who gave them the house, not the person that moved in
Yeah, that's why, upon learning what happened he moved out of the house, right? Cuz it was all a biiiig misunderstanding, right? He's not STILL living there, right??? 🙃🙃🙃
(By the way, this is my way of saying that I have been told things in confidence that very much contradict this whole "he didn't know" narrative. These aren't my stories to tell, so I'm not going to share them. But you should be aware that this might not be as cut and dry as some people are saying.)
There have been a lot of stories of squatters in my town. People pretending to rent a house out and make it seem legit. People who are on a long vacation or deployed.
One time they nicknamed a house the house from hell because squatters destroyed the inside and the owners had to sell as is.
Can you imagine if people scabbed houses? No, you can't, because I'm pretty sure that's illegal.
So why is it okay to scab acting roles from people who are just trying to get the benefits they need and have every intention to return once they get it?
You missed the part where the insurance company thought it would be cheaper to sell the house, as is, to the new guy instead of continuing with repair.
