If you want tickets you have to get them early. There's no last minute cheap tickets and even then the good games it's a toss up. In order to get assigned tickets you'll have to spend some money with Duke.

Moved to North Raleigh a couple of years ago.

I went to the live ESPN College Game Day broadcast (it was free) for the 2023 UNC/Duke game at Cameron. I couldn't believe how small that place is.

I'm gonna have to hate on them at an away game

I lived in north Raleigh for 5 years and later did a year of grad school at UNC. The ONLY Duke game I ever went to was one at UNC when I was a student there. It's no joke!

It's hard to get tickets if you're a Duke student. It is not easy. And that arena is tiny so once you're there it will not be comfortable.

Duke fans have to beg, borrow, and steal for those tickets. The games very exciting though. Keep your eyes and ears open and be nice to everyone. Buy the sweatshirt, become a little bit (or a lot!) rah rah. It’s hard work, but you can do it!

I used to supervise intramurals at Duke and the basketball finals were in Cameron. We’d stay there well after midnight hooping in the court. Grippiest court I’ve ever been on. You can cut on a dime even in your beater shoes

My sister got her PhD at Duke. The process that the students have to go through to get tickets is BONKERS. They camp out (literally, in tents) for a week to get the privilege of being in a lottery for basketball tickets. Duke basketball is not for play play!

Haha, I had the exact same experience when I moved to Raleigh. It’s pretty easy to get NC State tickets, but it’s not the same.
