I don’t think I’ve ever seen as much whining in my YouTube comments as when I said the phrase “from now on tweet at me on Bluesky” in the GTA V power line video. It’s gotta be every 5th comment someone moaning and crying about it.

Huh that's vaguely amusing that comment is what brought me here so I could follow your account.... Idk whiners will be whiners. I just want to support my fav creators.
bsky feels nice. shame mastodon didnt manage to take off, i think the lack of an "official" central host and the idea of "fediverse" confused people. i also think calling something the FEDiverse gives off bad vibes. hope x dot com dies and eats shit tho 👍
Mastodon is on-paper the best idea but it’s just way too techno cringe yea. People just want a chill place to hang out they aren’t actually all that principled.
That’s why it’s as good. Let them have their little alt right corner of the internet. I just hope that when the trolls start coming here in droves, there are better protections put in place to keep them from dominating the platform. It definitely helps that Bluesky, afaik, isn’t owned by an oligarch
They can’t have their own corner cause they only derive enjoyment by harassing women/journalists/progressives/leftists online. So they’re in quite a predicament! Leave their lord and savior, king muskrat, or lose the only meager meaning they have left in their lives.
I’m in the process of understanding the steps to not just to deactivate my account, but to actually remove as much of my existence as possible from the platform.
There’s a number of elements to the platform that have to be dismantled and types of data that need to removed.
Hey Any. So what if you did a video on if the train lines in Red Dead 2, actually can operate.
Like where would the trains stay after a journey?
Where do they get coal & water.
Is there a pilot engine for a station?
How do the engines turn around when they finish their trip?
on every social media platform, people need a few things to be elitist about. one of the first such things on bsky seems to be what to call the posts/tweets/skeets/bongles here.
To actually be upset could only mean they're a musk sycophants in some form or another. Not saying you can't use x and be normal, but wanting to be on a platform where the owner forces you to see their posts so you agree with them is crazy
People dislike change, and also people feel really strongly about what bluesky represents and why it's getting bigger. But. It's far better to have actual interactions on this platform.
Many of the ones most upset about it, though, are the ones who know they will get banned in two seconds because they’re addicted to their antisocial behaviors
Looks like it comes in waves from what I see, I guess it depends on the time in the continental US as nobody outside of there cares about loyalty to the dear leader and his first lady musk.
That's quite funny to be honest lmao, some people have bizarre egos. Thought all that shite was meant to be the "MANosphere" but they seem the most sensitive to anything they perceive as an attack on their Gods.
Why are so many in that comment section saying they’ve been banned from here? You have to say some pretty depraved stuff to get banned. Either that or be an obvious engagement troll account.
They haven't been banned what they really mean is they wound up on a block list and aren't able to troll like on Twitter because everyone just immediately blocks them
Ah so they mean to say they are toxically annoying about something or another and need a time-out from society until they can learn to communicate properly.
And they aren't even asking him to come back, they actively make fun of him for it. Why would he want to come back to appease a bunch of people who have no respect for him?
Yeah I saw that, immediately followed you here when you said that but those people are just insufferable, like why do they care so much what brainrot website we use lmao
I just wanna have my brainrot without hateful people everywhere
Your videos are genuinely creative and a breath of fresh air on video game commentaries. I’ve been watching these sorta classic videos since 2008. I can genuinely say I’ve never seen someone combine infrastructures or economics in a video game as a topic within a gaming video. 10/10.
People unironically commenting stuff like "What's wrong with Twitter?"
Like there's every been anything good about Twitter at any point within the last decade+
I can't even imagine what the difference is like for a popular creator. Being able to check the replies in my own posts without a million bot replies is nice and I had sub-50 followers.
Yea im genuinely curious. Because the video is doing just as well or better than most of mine, so it doesn’t seem to be an actual portion of the viewing audience that’s upset.
i thought you were joking so i sorted by newest and wtf why are there so many??
and why are half of them outing themselves by being like 'i got banned from there' lmao
If it helps, I was pretty stoked to see you joined Bluesky!
First video I saw of yours was rivers in TotK. Dig the vibe. Love watching them while I’m feeding my infant. Makes me appreciate the little things in games that I already love, just a little more. (With a few good laughs too!)
Whether they like it or not, you are under no obligation to participate in the platform (or activity, or...) that those commenters want you to be in.
Especially for a YouTube channel... usually 90%+ of the new subscribers come through YT recommendations and not through other social networks...
I found out you were here and was very excited.
Ive loved listening to your videos after work or when drawing, especially the snow levels or labor department
I checked your comments out because I was like No way it's brought up that much and uh yeah nope it literally is every couple of comments. So funny, I didn't think the right wing outrage at moving to bluesky was all that real until now

The owner of X is actively trying to dismantle our 248 year old government.
Musk has zero respect for the institutions of equality, justice and freedom.

But more importantly I very much appreciate your vids. So mundane yet so unique and interesting. Keep up the good work 👍
I’m confused

I'm glad I'm in good company.
Reading through the YouTube comments, sadly, answered all my questions.
Like there's every been anything good about Twitter at any point within the last decade+
Crybabies, the lot of them. We had our cry, now we're rallying. They are losing their everloving MINDS that we're disengaging from them.
Also we had a question, where did the hair-clips come from?
And, I’ve learned so much about water and electricity from you it’s crazy
They're called skeets here
and why are half of them outing themselves by being like 'i got banned from there' lmao

I just think it is funny how quickly they accuse everyone of being babies for leaving Twitter when the ones whining the most are them.
