I really feel like Bluesky has reached a critical mass in last month. Great community, good tools, and more 'useful' for its intended social media purpose than any of the others. The lack of incessant monetization makes a more laid back, less anxiety-driven site culture. So, so much better.

Spending a month on Bluesky has created a whole new model of a fight we need to be having right now. Not liberal vs. conservative or whatever, but respect vs manipulation.

I am tired of being manipulated everywhere I go. That’s why I like it here, I feel like I’m in charge for once.
