Not mad per se but I kept hearing about it on social media and other places to the extent that I had to watch it, and... it's not very good imo while also taking itself sooo seriously, but this is also annoying because it has certain redeeming qualities that should have made it better than it is.
i think it got overpraised and people like me who watched it later were disappointed about how quickly it became very stupid but also i'm burying this opinion in a reply because i don't really care
people are prudes but also there isnt a lot of substance to the movie besides "rich people are horrible and sometimes the people who want to be rich are worse" and the best parts of the movie are barry keoghan being a weird little pervert, so without those there just isn't that much
hand to god the complaints about it I heard sounded like people expected to for some reason a Spalding gray style movie of a guy sitting down to read Das Kapital and judged it on how far away it was from that
