Reminds me of an anti-abortion hearing I attended in the '80s, run by Californian horror John Schmitz. He complained his hearings were being invaded by "imported lesbians". I asked my (lesbian) companion, "What's the difference between the domestic and the imported?"
"The price?" she suggested.
If you get a thing (such as misidentifying a breed of chicken) wrong, no matter how obscure the thing is, people who are experts in that thing will find your post/article/book/whatever, get upset about it, and will tell you how wrong you are.
I mean, in your defense, any paper wasp the size of a medium dog might reasonably be considered rather dangerous if she's in a foul mood or if it's the wrong time of year. Not to mention the damage one that size could do to wooden structures gathering wood pulp for her nest.
Pretty sure any dust coming off your clothes or in a window is less sanitary than the feet of a paper wasp. A grocery bag. Your purse. The mail. Cleanliness-wise, paper-wasps are pretty damn low on the infectious scale.
So the self proclaimed wasp expert tried to dodge my questions about whether wasps were dangerous, and when I persisted they blocked me.
Wasps sting to protect themselves. Even when you're no threat, but they think you are. They can't be reasoned with. Gonna say CSPC was right to start with. 🫡
A wasp once sat on my knee for 2mins, *then* stung me.
Only its stinger got stuck, it was right over a nerve, so my knee swelled up like a balloon as i frantically tried to find something to gently push the wasp + stinger out to get it unstuck.
That wasp? Definitely a bastard.
They have misdiagnosed the danger or lack thereof.
Check the countertop -- the wasp casts no reflection. As such, it is not a standard humungous wasp but a vampire wasp, and all vampires are dangerous... particularly, if the literature is to be believed, to lesbians.
Why are you here on Bluesky? This is NOT a joke. I am alarmed at the number of federal agencies still using X while the platform actively PROMOTES misinformation that makes it harder for agencies like FEMA to do their job. So I want to know what lead YOU to Bluesky so that when I write the other
Great question! We can't recommend specific products because of the law, but we can advise on how to use categories of products safely based on the injuries we track in our special injury tracking system.
They are of course referring to the colander which is painted with material that may contain traces of industrial toxins, and not the family pet Mr. Buzzlesorth.

...though Lesbian International sounds like a kickass revolutionary org 😆

We had words with a certain aquarium once for comments about “fat” otters.

Just a thought.

Still sad that we weren't allowed to pet the big kitty.
Oh wait, maybe it already did. ;-)
More seriously is there literature on recommendations for various kinds of bug kill sprays and when/how to use them?
except for the constant chewing of furniture and fingers and whatnot
