It was just okay for me. It devolved into the usual “people trapped in the house and picked off one by one with lots of blood.
They tried a “The Usual Suspects” plot line alongside the horror, but fell flat at the end. IMO
I would check out Antlers or The Ritual. Both are folklore related. I am sure you have probably already seen The Witch or Hereditary. Both movies are a slow burn but great.
Hereditary, Beau is Afraid. Ari Aster (director of Midsommar) is brilliant, goes places few other filmmakers would.
You may have seen all of Jordan Peele’s movies, but if not, TREAT YO’SELF. For my money, Us is the most frightening, but that’s not to slight any of his other work.

The Ritual
The Wailing
Apostle
Men
All pretty recent and have a similar vibe.

Climax
The Lighthouse
Saint Maud
The Witch
Antichrist
The Invitation
Everyone already suggested some really great horror films, so I’m going to suggest something slightly different with Under The Silver Lake.
It’s probably more of a pulpy noir thriller, but I found it entertaining nonetheless.
Mother!
Mandy
Suspiria (either version)
Annihilation
Honorable mentions:
Late Night With the Devil
Longlegs
