Bushmiller obviously had a talent for drawing sexy dames with nice gams back in the Fritzi Ritz days, but his real genius took flight only once he realized he could be successful by working smarter, not harder.

The cartoonist forsaw the current political response to the global climate crisis and get both sides exactly right. Nancy's like "stuff's getting real, let's do something about this!" Sluggo's like "Fake News" and Nancy's like "Can you do any less?" Sluggo "Burn baby, burn! Rake the forrest!"
The best part of the punchline is that he signed that last panel at the bottom of all that blank white snow space to highlight the signature like "That's right, it me!! The Laziest Guy!!"
