Tragically, Musk might be right, unless Labour starts to deliver really substantial material improvements to people's lives, communities, services and incomes. Now. Today.
And I seriously doubt they can do that via "economic growth", especially as most new growth only benefits the richest 10% > 🧵

They could do it by redistribution.
But that would take courage and mean confronting Murdock.
So they won’t.
So distribution needs to change. Or most of us will still feel like we're in a recession >
It won't help. Reform's policies would make things even worse for their voters. But >
Labour has a choice to make: Fix the issues now; or lose in 2029, and hope to inherit an even worse situation in 15 years >
But there's no hope of that level of GDP growth. Not outside the EU >
Shocker!
Of course >
TL:DR - grow a fucking spine, Keir Starmer, or spend your 70s watching PM Farage destroy the country.
They have up to 5 years, and will likely need all of it
Labour will be in power for at least a decade.
Reform is already splitting. There's another new party forming and people are tired of Farage.
So that's a win, right?
Fucker’s gonna crash and burn faster than one of his shitty cars
If this biased reporting is allowed to continue it doesn’t matter whatever they do
SM will be swamped with lies focussed on individual/micro interest groups.
If however, big media shouts "it's the worst ever now" and for long enough, it won't matter what they do.
They (as UKIP) weren't much more than a punchline until they won the EU ref by gaming social media, and they seem to have focussed on gaming media and elections ever since.
We ignore them at our peril.
Even Russ Jones is being roped into the madness!
Five months….
FIVE MONTHS!
How can you make such comments, almost threats, that Labour must do something substantial, significant and meaningful NOW or it’s potentially the end for them? They need a bit of time 🙄
Starmer is an authoritarian neolberal.
This was clearly evident from what he did to become Labour leader. His most trusted advisors are Mandelson & Akehurst, FFS.
There’s 14 years to unpick, it’s going to take 3-4 years before we will see any real progress, I for one still think they can do this - but I just hope people have some patience, which is easier said than done.
