I imagine you'd get similar results polling Europeans. Even once the cheeto is out the mistrust will remain. Their politics and culture have proven to be unstable. They will have to rebuild trust like a developing nation. The costs are going to be huge.

Both groups of the Canadian respondents to this poll have a point. Under Trump and Musk, the United States is acting with hostility against allies to please Russia. There is reason to view the US as an enemy. And there is reason to believe that Americans need to fix this mess to regain trust.
