How did people feel about the "pixel" setting in A Short Hike? I remember feeling conflicted about deliberately downsampling a game, but I think it's an interesting "sacrifice" to make for a more impressionistic style (as in, the low res gives you more space to imagine more detail)

Webfishing implemented the same thing, can be fun to experience the crunch
Heartworm has the same type of settings, and kinda looks wrong without it (PS1 style graphics need it)
When I started working on it, I thought it was interesting to see how much I could replicate pixel art aesthetic in 3D, which focused the aesthetic.
Ultimately this style allowed me to make stuff quickly that I felt satisfied with. But the shifting aliasing can be pretty rough
