It's because your block list subscription is working well. If you subscribed to block lists, as people are added to the list, they get blocked too. It's delightful.
Only downside to that is that I've heard of bad actors creating and then manipulating lists that purport to block only MAGA / nonsense and add legitimate voices to that list. 😬
