The whole "weirdo" thing got under their skin but was ultimately ineffective. I'm not sure what the "President Musk" or "Elonald Trusk" things are supposed to achieve. I've had fun with them myself but we're facing serious problems and need to put away the joke book.

I refuse to give money to either party. They use it against you. You'll be on calling lists and mailing lists for life. They'll sell your name and information to other campaigns and even outside data vendors. They'll knock on your doors and they aren't subject to Do Not Call lists. Beware.
