There will continue to be a rise in price in chocolate because the cocoa trees are aging out and have been for a while. The shortage will continue.Has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with our overuse of our resources.
Wait a minute! Why is no one talking about butter? - $8.99 a pound for name brand butter? Even if you can afford the eggs, you can’t afford the butter to cook them or bake with them.

Tariffs will lead to a drop in the share price of a number of companies on the stock exchange. If you know ahead of time when the tariffs will happen and what companies will be affected you can make money by shorting that stock.
What needs to happen is to see if trump et al make money this way.
Oh get stocked. Besides tariffs they had a drought in Brazil and this year's crop was mostly lost. Coffee prices are expected to go way up around April 😲
When I read about the tariffs and I seen coffee in the list of consequences, I went to the grocery store and committed the same insanity in which I laughed at the toilet paper people for. We all have our breaking point, and I think we are all about to see what it is.
Ehhhh...... it was more on the side of humor(life is so hard we need to laugh too). I can get used to not having it should it come to that. Been there done that. It's just the taste that I love. If we all hit the streets in every state - they will change their minds about tariffs.

What did it for me was back then as I was going to college and it was cold, I was drinking coffee and lots of coke. BOY O BOY the pain I got on my lower back. I couldn't even move. It hurt so bad. Bye bye coke.
I once was in San Francisco for two weeks. Ghirardelli factory tours twice a day. Guides changed shifts are 2 pm. Free chocolate on the tour. It did not get better than that. Oh yeah, tour was free
Our refusal to do anything meaningful about climate change will lead to widespread famine. This is about far more than the price of eggs. Our entire food system is imperiled by climate collapse and the pandemics most people are ignoring.
I just read that chocolate is going to skyrocket in price so I direct ordered a case of baking chips and powder directly from Ghirardelli. Hubs laughed at me. But when I resell it and escape to a tropical island with the proceeds who will be laughing then?
