I wish that we could quit glamorizing and glorifying working yourself to death for the "greater society". Employers who demand that level of commitment see you as just a replaceable cog and they do nothing to protect you or your long-term health. See coal companies, etc for examples
Call me Mr Pedantic, but lifespan -at birth- isn't the same as lifespan at 40, 50, 60... at their age they would have lived pretty much as long as anyone their age now.
