My aunt was one of the women who was to be taken up to NY for an abortion in the 60s. The morning age was supposed to leave. No one could wake her up. Bc it was an ectopic pregnancy, and it ruptured while everyone was asleep. She barely survived. That was eastern ky in the mid 60's.
