I was 10 when this came out and saw it in the theater as many times as my parents would allow. My friends and I have spent the past 40ish years endlessly quoting it. I loved it even more when I discovered Bob Clark’s Black Christmas. Made me so happy that he could jump genres so easily!

It’s that rare occurrence of a film being absolutely perfect in terms of tone, cinematography, editing, performance, writing… EVERYTHING about it could not be done differently or even attempted in any other way.

I will go to my grave screaming that it’s one of the greatest films ever made.
