I have no idea why pundits are practicing collective amnesia about Trump's first term. Events need to be put in context. The loss of security protocols is a continuation of those lost in the first term. Same with Ukraine -- why such "shock" over Zelensky when Trump was impeached over a shakedown?!

I recall during Trump’s first term, he leaked classified information to a known Russian spy recruiter, IN THE OVAL OFFICE, the day after he fired James Comey.
He immediately tried to claim he had “declassified” the information, but he put allied troops at risk.
