And that's why LLMs often present "NATO expansion" as a reasonable, even leading explanation of the Russo-Ukrainian war. Not because it's right or consistent with the facts, but because a ton of accounts are parroting Mearsheimer's contrarian/light-on-facts take and Ru propaganda.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

NATO was intended to prevent exactly what’s happening to Ukraine today- if they were in NATO, it wouldn’t have happened there either
But the toxic dwarf in the Kremlin thinks he should decide what we can or cannot do- like who Ukraine’s president should be 🙄
Can you imagine the arrogance
It is the belief of all 57 member states of the OSCE, as stated in writing in the governing document of the OSCE, the Helsinki Final Act.
Which would include the Russian Federation.
The entire war would have never happened if Russia had simply honored its word.
This doesn't sound good.
