As we approach mid-winter, an illustration of cave art showing two Reindeer; from Font de Gaume cave, France.
One is licking or smelling the other who appears to be sleeping? giving birth? dead or dying?.
Originally rendered by someone of the Magdalenian culture, 16,000 years ago.

Qs: what else in that culture was painted? where might it be preserved?
I'm sure they were the best, but i think they were part of a community of artists/craftspeople who decorated LOTS of things, in a culture that valued it
"Ugh, Gork no understand artistic licence." *draws tiniest legs ever*
So the reason OP's pic looks like the work of a professional artist is *because it's the work of a professional artist*, one of the modern era who "restored" the original
E.g., is this a computer drawing of what the original cave art could've looked like had it been better preserved?
(it's also one of my most favourite art sites β€οΈ)
Take a look at the males and females in Scotland, as handy example.... https://www.cairngormreindeer.co.uk/2017/07/14/differences-and-similarities/ 1/2
