I'm sorry you are experiencing this, you both must be so scared and worried 💕 There is a difference between active, contagious TB disease (coughing, weight loss, night sweats, etc) and non-contagious, latent or "sleeping" TB infection. Happy to talk about it.

I only happened to notice that the audiobook was included with my Spotify Premium subscription so I had the pleasure of reading it last week. It was a delight (and also of course infuriating). Unsurprisingly, I've been a fount of tuberculosis facts to all my friends in the time since.
