Word. We (Dems) don’t know how to deal with asymmetrical warfare. Like the British fighting the Continental army at the start of the Revolution. They stood in rows and were mowed down.
Nah it's honestly worse, the analogy would be that the dog finishes the game, and then afterwards they go "well dogs have always played, it would be a radical extremist position to not have a dog in the game" forever afterwards, just so the next match they get dog dunked again.
considering how long it take the average person to understand what's happening in front of them that's not surprising. people still calling to impeach Trump after he's been impeached twice and given a mock trial without consequences.
I will always treasure those few weeks where it looked like Bernie was going to win and Chris Matthews was crying about how if that happened he would be executed in Central Park and the universal reaction was 👍
Or the 2016 primary. If the ‘superdelegates’ hadn’t given half the votes to Clinton from states that Sanders won, we’d be reveling in luxury gay space communism right now.
DNC needs to hire some high-powered and nasty media consultants to attack attack attack. Remember, Trump learned everything from Roy Cohn. Time to fight fire with fire.
George Lakoff has spent 40+ years trying to teach the DNC how to effectively counter the GOP BS machine and they have never listened.
He isn't even suggesting fire with fire--just how to dump water on the GOP's fire. Instead, the DNC continues to fight fire with wads of gasoline-soaked newspaper.
The night of the election, after we were informed that Donald Trump is a fascist would-be dictator intent on imprisoning and deporting thirty million people and suspending numerous rights, ending birthright citizenship, and persecuting his political enemies...
Biden promptly declared how he would be working closely with Trump to ensure a smooth transition phase and the DNC asked for $10 to bolster mid-term elections. Several prominent Democrats suggested throwing trans people under the bus. Others pledged excitement to work with Musk and RFJ Jr.
We're told Trump is this horrible, unique threat, and then they treat him and his clownish administration like Business As Usual while using the excuse to ratchet harder to the right.
Can you really blame us for feeling disillusioned?
I get that. But I’m asking what should the Democrats do differently besides being meaner and less accepting of Trump? What can they do to actually accomplish something?

That’s us.
The referees: “Okay but…..what we just ignore that rule and say he can, and also be able to break any previous rules in basketball as well?”
Out the Olds
Primary them all
They have been doing this for decades and still don’t even know that there is no outside power to appeal to
sleepwalking liberals.
We made jokes about a Voltron Democrat. Turns out they were marketing the idea.
