Has there ever been a mass movement in the US from ypipo that wasn’t about racism, hate & exclusion? Has there ever been a mass ypipo movement in this country for the good of *everyone* cuz it sure seems that all of the passion & anger has only been used to *violently exclude*.

But - as a lifetime gay activist I take my straight allies as valuable or more valuable than my gay allies. Just sayin.
We have to keep fighting.

old white grandpa
Black and Brown don't stand up for themselves, boycott, mass protest either.
Doesn't give you much room for suggesting you're any better...
Brings to mind ugly images of, um, mild inconvenience I sometimes encounter.
Or how it hurts my feelings real bad when I don’t have a thorough explainer about every new Kendrick Lamar song.
Revolutionary war.
Abolitionist movement.
Workers movements.
Suffragette movement.
....
But you mean they started "because of" or were "energized by" or was somehow the "reason for"...then that is, I believe a difficult assertion to defend.
"In the age of Reconstruction, labor unions blossomed as trade increased, but Black Americans were often excluded by predominantly white organizations."

I'll have to dig around more for the labor movement, but again - racism is inherent in both The Revolutionary War and in Women's Suffrage. It's baked in, it's inseparable.

I was thinking early 2000s, but maybe that wasn’t so much a mass movement as me being in college and going to protests and marches.
My only regret would be not taking a nazi or two with me. But go ahead, just off all us ypipo. Its for the best.
But yes, I definitly would LOVE to take a few bigoted treasonous nazi fucks with me into oblivion. You could even say it's my "retirement plan".
But,
If she wants to off ypipo, and they can guarantee me a compassionate end...
there is racism in every nook and cranny of western society
