Sweden has given more military aid to Ukraine than France. Denmark has given one third of what Germany has given. Finland has given twice as much as Italy. The bigger countries have given very little per capita. If the U.S. had given as much as Denmark per capita it could have been €330 billion.

This chart from the FT/Kiel Institute is revealing, putting EU, German and French support for Ukraine into context
Germany has provided lots of €bn for Ukraine, but doesn't really have a policy
France has aclear policy, but no credibility, given the miserly €bn it has provided since late Jan 2022

My predictions is that it will be Germany that will instigate negotiations between the two sides.
To a certain extend would a continued conflict only be in the interest of US and China!
