Sharing one incidental detail from a film that's been out for two weeks — particularly when that film is a remake of a film that came a century ago with "new" elements borrowed from a book that came out 130 years ago that itself has been made into dozens of films — does not constitute a spoiler.

Same thing for most movies about Jesus' final days.
Thanks!
OK, ElderHermit Island-Dwelling Jedi— you be a big boy and figure everything out yourself. Welcome to 2025, & Good luck with your Ford Pinto.”

Even in media where the journey is more important than the destination, part of that journey is trying to figure things out.
2. I can go on but snobbery and inconsideration is built by a lifetime of habits and I'm not going to change you so I'll just disengage
sorry 😕
Saying there's no such thing as spoilering doesn't actually help anyone.
You can even enjoy something if you already know the ending!
Especially when it's not a high budget major release, and many people are just learning about it from "best films of 2024" lists.
The remake/non-critical scene info points make perfect sense.
The "it's been out since Christmas and it's already Jan 5" is silly, but I oversold that a bit and it just sounded like Twitter talk🙃
A tale as old as time.
What the fuck is the NAME of this film that's been out for two weeks, Dan?
I mean, common knowledge is common.
If something 95% of the population is aware of, are we obligated not to mention it to “protect” the other 5%?
Tyranny of the minority.
I will watch and it sounds better to me.
