He’s a high ranking Dem in the US House, led the 2nd impeachment trial of Trump (and was quite impressive in that role as well), and he’s Jewish which makes the statement that much stronger, and hard for opponents to accuse him of antisemitism

There is no place in that statement where he calls the targeting of houses of worship - during the time of worship services - as terrorism. It is. There is no place where he calls cutting off water to a population of 2.2 million souls as terrorism. It is.
