I'd rather be firm and frank about something upfront. Because if it continues it means they genuinely don't care about accessibility and inclusion. Like, there's nothing revolutionary about leaving people behind.
WAIT. Is @bencollins.bsky.social an ableist who doesn't care about people with disabilities? Alt Text isn't hard, it just takes time and a proclivity to CARE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO USE ADAPTIVE TECH/RESOURCES.
The underlying brutality and state oppression wrapped in apologetic niceness is classic Democrat. The high contrast and sad snap to truth is absolutely perfect satire.
We are seeing images and reports of vandalism, not to mention disruption to whats left of the semester. Is that not sufficient justification for campuses or state governments to decide to use police force to make them stop?
No, not when said police forces are paramilitary organizations who resort to brutality. The "vandalism" absolutely does not rise to the level of calling in state-sponsored thugs to beat, tear gas and fire rubber bullets at. And the disruption of the semester IS THE POINT.
Breaking windows, setting up barricades, and seizing buildings is not enough vandalism? By that logic, we should stop prosecuting all non-violent January 6th insurrectionists because they are actually no different than some of these students.
I suggest you educate yourself on student protests in the United States and how Columbia University and Hamilton Hall factor into those protests. It's not the same, in any way, as a bunch of traitors trying to stop the legal transition of power.
Hey congratulations, you’re parroting the dumbest bullshit on the internet today. Guess there’s no difference between violently beating your way into the capitol to stage a fascist coup and occupying a university administrative building to protest a genocide
Couple windows getting busted and you're shook enough to send in the NYPD's anti-terrorist squad to beat up and arrest college kids protesting Israel's slaughter in Gaza.

I'd imagine its slow withering over the last few years had as much to do with Spanfeller and G/O Media as anything.
Not actually funny though.
I ask, this was after you kicked students off for being non violent yes?
