I'm going to be a bit self-indulgent here...
(yeah, yeah... like always, Duncan,)
-and link this lovely clip of my dad being as close to himself as he ever got with a camera in front of him. ❤️

Much love, miss him and will be playing some obscure album tracks in his honour today.
His exhibition at the V & A was truly magical for me. A much needed few hours where I totally forget an at that time personal trauma. Cannot wait for new permanent V & A Bowie exhibition to open in September at Stratford.
Love to you and your family. x
Rest peaceful Mr David Bowie 🥰
Such a great talent.
You do him credit.
Going to listen to some David now.
i can relate to where you are with this.
Sending love to all ★🤗
(Seriously though, that was lovely.)
Your dad was definitely one of a kind.

And this one, where he predicts...everything.

Your Dad knew comedy. Funny as hell.
Such a grounded soul.
Seems like a world away.
I think it was the same Parky interview where he quotes Philip Larkin
“They fuck you up, your mum and dad…”
and he helped me win a trivia night at a bar once by my knowing his birth name was David Jones.
Thanks David for the art and free chicken wings.
I personally swear by his comment about 'never play to the gallery' (from Inspirations I think), best advice for artists I ever heard. 🤘
It would have been so amazing to meet him, not in an awe-struck bumbling way. Ah what the hell, definitely awe-struck.
Seriously, he was like a lifeline.
Thank you for sharing.

And do you remember him turning up with a few Madness LPs? I think it was while I was a student so it would have been very early ‘80s.
