I feel like I’m going a little crazy, everyone’s acting like things are normal. None of this is normal, presidents aren’t supposed to ignore the law.

I’m not a lawyer but this is pretty basic stuff

I personally don't know anyone who thinks ANY of what is going on is "normal"! The very point of each MAGA act is, exactly, that it is NOT normal. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either not paying one iota of attention OR is happy that the U.S. is turning into a banana republic/christofascist state.

I don’t know how anyone doesn’t feel like they’re going crazy. Yesterday we were the world’s friends and the economy, though not perfect, was healthy. Now an insane despot has for no good reason torn it all down, and short of a national organized American citizen revolt, the way out isn’t clear.

This is a good example of how even people normally very careful about the words they use can be influenced by the media to downplay this crisis.

Trump isn't "ignoring" the law. He's very much aware of it.

No, Trump is purposefully VIOLATING the law. And there's no one to hold him accountable.

Trump spits on court rulings, dares the Constitution to stop him, and most of the media barely blinks. This isn’t normal. It’s not a policy debate. It’s the slow death of democracy, and too many journalists are covering it like it’s the weather. Kai and a handful of journalists get it. Most don’t.

It’s past time for a national strike. Even 10% of the country refusing to work will shut everything down. Demands should be to follow every judicial decision made to date, end DOGE and get Musk out of the government.

this is a completely premeditated effort to get the American public used to ignoring judges and sidelining Congress. So when they get to the real stuff like election manipulation and third and fourth presidential terms we will already be firmly convinced there is no recourse
