The reason why the Conservative party shouldn't disapprove of people who 'remain childless' or campaign against living next to someone of a different race is that it is politically difficult to do so, apparently (!!).

They are saying they have to “avoid conspiracy theories”, like the existence of a monolithic “bureaucratic class”, who are undermining the nation state with their rules protecting people and not hating neighbours for being gay or of a different culture or religion, for example?
One thing that is hard to work out with Badenoch is that civil servants were sharply divided on 'is she lazy or hardworking', which is unusual. Coming around to the view that she is selectively hardworking, and one thing she is lazy about is actually *looking at what goes out in her name*.
Just at the level of 'easily Googled facts', David Cameron committed to an In-Out referendum in 2013, before Ukip's by-election victories in 2014 or the European elections in 2014.
To Tony Blair's rules for opposition ('start with an honest analysis of why we are not in government') I think we now need to add 'start with a honest analysis of what your opponents actually believe'.
Reading the screenshots in this thread, I can’t help noticing what a terrible writer this person is. I have had to read each one 2-3 times because it is an utterly incomprehensible word salad. It reads like a parody of a politics essay
The idea that it's ed milliband rather than anti net zero Tories who think they know better than the energy industry is very funny, given how (for eg) energy uk lobbied hard against the onshore wind ban in England
And as everyone involve knows he did so because he was forced to by disgruntled backbenchers who felt cheated of a ministerial job by the coalition settlement - what better way to stick it to the Libs than campaign for an in out referendum…
