Was it good once? Yup. Has it been good recently though? A week? A month? A year? Noooope. There's been a long time to process that it's going away, so now it feels like it matters less now that it's basically happening. I've already long since done the being upset at it part.

It is still sad that it happened, and it's awful to be proven right about something bad like that, but it's not quite as emotionally world-ending as it once felt. You can put a lot of stock in these things, website or people even, but even if they go you're still here moving forward

Totally agree. When elon made the first few changes I think everyone knew that twitter was gonna die and so people slowly became more detached as more changes kept happening.

Yeah totally, I remember right after he bought it I was in a really poor place mentally because I KNEW he'd tank it somehow. Two years on from that point, all the good stuff and vibes really went years ago, their loss was mourned, and now it's just a sucky thing that happened.

Honestly it stopped being good long before Elon. Twitter never had good moderation. Replies were full of toxicity and there was some new drama every week because the platform's design encouraged that.

It's dying for the people that matter. Twitter will stay up as basically Truth Social 2 and stay infested with the worst people. But the people actually worth anyone's time? They're coming here by the millions.

That's great to hear. I've hated Twitter ever since Musk got it but only really dealt with it because so many people I know or followed were on it but really just didn't want to stay there with all that hate and bigotry.
